We Debut A New Studio With Dos Hombres Cabinet Cigars

It’s finally here. You’ve heard us talk about it for weeks now and the new studio has arrived at the United Podcast Network. This week we will be broadcasting live from the La Flor Dominicana set of the The Cigar Authority where we will light up two cigars from the care package.

Thomas Marshall once said, “what this country needs is a really-good 5-cent cigar.” Well we have the 21st Century equivalent in the Dos Hombre Dominican Cabinet and the Dos Hombre Honduran Cabinet and we will tell you the story of how these cigars carry the same price regardless of your states taxes.

We will also take a look at the struggles of the Brick & Mortar retailer and call on you the listener to help change the trend that retail stores are facing across the country.

An Early Look At Possible Contenders For Cigar of the Year

Well Rocky Patel was supposed to be a guest on The Cigar Authority even confirming it at IPCPR in Las Vegas. But, he’s on a well deserved vacation in Wyoming where evidently they don’t have cell phone service. We will still light up the Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary which is the first cigar from the August Care Package.

We will also take a look at contenders for the 2017 Cigar of the Year. What have we smoked that’s good and worthy of consideration at this point of the year. Will David, Mr. Jonathan and Barry find a common ground?

In the second hour, we will jump into our time machine and smoke something that was released at the August 6th, 2007 trade show.

The Boys Are Back From IPCPR & Steve Saka Joins Us!

The boys are back and we will discuss IPCPR with Steve Saka from Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust as we light up his Mi Querida in the first hour of the show. This show has the potential of creating the perfect storm as Steve isn't shy and promises to unload his thoughts about the most recent IPCPR.

In the second hour we will light up the new Winston Churchill Late Hour from Davidoff Cigars as we discuss all the chatter heard at the trade show, who appeared to be hot, and who was not.

Barry gives us the latest cigar news and step into the Asylum which promises to push the envelope, while Mr. Jonathan tells us how to be Debonaire as David Garafolo tries to keep things under control in a show that just might ruffle a few feathers.

Live on Tape From The 2017 IPCPR in Las Vegas, NV

David Garofalo and Mr. Jonathan were in Las Vegas this week where they were performing triple duty. They got together and recorded this show live on tape to give us a first hand look at the 2017 IPCPR show from Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the first hour they light up the Spirit of Art from Cuba Rica, and fill us in on what the IPCPR is all about. We hear first hand from a variety of manufacturers and we even have a very special Classic 3-Way involving Nick Perdomo, Christian Eiroa and Rocky Patel.

Mr. Jonathan gets Debonaire, Barry reports from the Asylum we even have some Reclusive Cigar News.

2017 IPCPR Preview & Max Bichler from Rocky Patel

IPCPR 2017 has the potential of being one for the record books. The rumor mill is heating up in the cigar industry, and some deals could be signed, sealed and delivered while in Las Vegas. We will touch on who some of those players might be. We will also let you know who isn’t going to be at the trade show this year, and we will go over some of the highlights of cigars coming out at this years event in Las Vegas.

All of that is enough for a show, but as we say at The Cigar Authority, go big or go home. So we will welcome to the show Max Bichler from Rocky Patel who is one of the biggest players in the industry.

Lighting Up The Caleanoch 50 & The Firecracker

It’s an explosive episode as we light up The Firecracker and get into a spirited debate over who should make the next Firecracker. Crowned Heads’ Le Careme & We Say Farewell To Gentleman Chuck Morrison

It’s a day of firsts and lasts for The Cigar Authority. For the first time we welcome Jon Huber to the show from Crowned Heads as we smoke Le Careme a cigar that was inspired by French cuisine. We will look into the history of the Nashville based company as well look into the future of the company.

In the second hour, we say goodbye at least for the time being as the doors will always remain open for Chuck Morrison who is leaving us as he moves north and begins a new chapter in his life. We will light up his favorite cigar and find out what is going on with Wicked Cuisine.
