This week on The Cigar Authority we take a trip down memory lane as we look back at the first issue of Cigar Aficianodo from 25 years ago. It’s a bit of show and tell as Mr. Jonathan is on vacation, and Ed is attending to a family related issue across the box. How much has the cigar industry changed? You might be surprised.

Exposing The Myths With Dr. Marc Micozzi

Magic in the air… on Halloween, black is the night full of fright, you’ll be missing the day, what will be here very soon. And what better way to celebrate then with a true treat. In the first hour of the show we light up the latest Monster Series from Pete Johnson’s Tatuaje. It’s the Michael named after Michael Myers of the Halloween movies.

At the bottom of the first hour, we welcome Dr. Marc Micozzi the former Senior Investigator of cancer prevention at the National Cancer Institute. We will unmask the truth about cigar smoking, and while we know the answers, you just might be surprised by what this well respected Doctor has to say.

In the second hour we will be craving donuts, as we light up the last cigar from the October care package; Jose Dominiguez. We will also share an incredible deal on these cigars so be sure to tune in and not miss out!

Pappy Van Winkle and Rare Medio Tiempo Tobacco

Today on The Cigar Authority we light up two cigars that have some rarity attached to them. In the first hour we will light up Pappy Van Winkle from Drew Estate. We’ll try not to take a 20 year nap, as we tell you the story of Rip and Julian “Pappy” Van Winkle. It’s also not the first cigar to have ties to the liquor industry and we will discuss how the two industries have worked together in the past.

In the second hour we will light up a cigar that has the famed Medio Tiempo tobacco leaf. This small tobacco leaf doesn’t grow on every tobacco plant. It is however in every cigar of Vallejuello Medio Tiempo which was part of The Cigar Authority care package for October.

You've heard us hype up over the last few weeks the fact that we have a mystery guest joining us. Today is the day that all the secrets will be let out of the bag as our guest will tell you everything you wanted to know and perhaps things you wish you would have never known.

The La Aurora Time Capsule Corojo is the first cigar of the October Care Package from the first cigar factory of the Dominican Republic

Last Call For International Podcast Day With Lord Byron

Simon Sez You Need To Listen To This One -fixed

It’s a good thing we got coffee as we are still recovering from the epic 32nd Anniversary party at Two Guys Smoke Shop. We will recap this event, and let you know how the event came together, the game, who was crowned King of Cigars, and who won out of all the customers attending the show. It was a crazy night and there will be a lot of stories to tell but it won’t just be about XXXII. We will unveil what is planned for 2018 at the 33rd Anniversary Event!
