It's that time of year again to go over the numbers and look at the State of the Cigar Industry. It's one of our favorite shows of the year because it's stuff we as true stogie geeks want to know. 

We'll be joined in studio from Jarrid Trudeau of Kristoff Cigars who was recently named the VP of Sales for the company. In the first half hour of the show we will light up a cigar from the Care Package, the one that doesn't piss off the boss. After smoking the Kristoff Connecticut we will light up the Kristoff Criollo in the second hour....

Also there is a chance during the Food Authority segment one of us might need a bucket...

The 2016 Cigar of the Year Winner Is...

As The Cigar Authority begins today we will say goodbye to the reigning cigar of the year as voted by the authority on cigars. The Recluse Amadeus Habano might have raised a few eyebrows when we named it cigar of the year but the brand saw tremendous growth during the year as people saw just how amazing the cigar was.

When we come back from the break to start the second hour we will reveal the new winner, the new champion. the 2016 Cigar of the Year. A cigar that was voted on by people who purchased the contenders pack, as well as a unanimous vote here on The Cigar Authority.

Predicting #1 Cigars & The Care Package Returns

It’s time for another fun episode of the Internets #1 cigar podcast. This week on the show we feature the first cigar from the December care package, Azan Burgundy.
