Celebrating the Life Carlos Fuente Sr.

Today, May 6th, 2017 would have been the 82nd birthday of Carlos Fuente Sr. and we celebrate the life of the cigar industry icon. In the first hour we light up a cigar that Carlos Fuente Sr. blended for his father with the 8-5-8 and we let you know the significance of those numbers.

In the second hour we raid David Garofalo’s private stash, with a box that he received from Carlos Fuente Sr. 6 years ago to celebrate his 76th birthday. The box has remained sealed until today, when we crack it open and enjoy one in his memory.

The Cigar Authority Looks At Pricing Trends

In the recent years there has been a flood of cigars that cost $10-$15-$20. Sometimes you can’t come up with the extra scratch to grab a bunch of these for yourself or your buddies if you are heading out to play some golf or go to a barbecue.

Thankfully there seems to be a new sweet spot for cigars that cost under $5. On today’s episode of The Cigar Authority broadcasting live from Two Guys Smoke Shop we will take a look at the best of the cigars that smoke a hell of a lot more expensive then their price tag. Celebrating 7 Years of TCA With Fratello Cigars

7 Years ago to the day, The Cigar Authority launched with David Garofalo and Mr. Jonathan and over the years things have changed, while the show might not have gotten better. We seem to have hit our stride with Chuck Morrison producing and Barry Stein taking a swing at every piece of low hanging fruit.

We are joined in studio with Omar de Frias of Fratello Cigars as we light up two different Fratello cigars including one that is the first cigar from the April care package.

We will look back at the history of the show, and look to the future of what The Cigar Authority might bring during our 7th season.

We will also have Chuck getting Debonaire, Barry with the News, Mr. Jonathan steps into the Asylum and the show gets a new opening…

The Last Episode of Our 6th Year With Jose Blanco

6 Years, 312 Episodes and still counting! We close out our 6th Season with an epic finale. We will be joined in studio by Jose Blanco as we catch up with him about rumors, blending, and his joining forces EP Carrillo.

The Boys Return From The Habanos Festival

David Garofalo and Mr. Jonathan make their return to The Cigar Authority after spending a few days in Cuba for the Habanos Festival. We will get to see Cuba through their eyes and get a recap of this great trip.

In the first hour we will light up a cigar from the March Care Package from Indian Head Cigars. Rough Rider is a cigar which features a sweetened cap.

In the second hour we will light up a cigar from the Habanos Fesitval, the Quai D’Orsay.

After the show Dave is flying to Mexico for the Tobacconist Association of America (TAA) event.
