Jack Torano joins The Cigar Authority

Jack Torano has a long and distinguished career but it starts long before the cigar industry. You see, he use to live in Chicago where he was a jingle writer, and part of the team that created the Real Men of Genius campaign for Budweiser. 

In 2011, he moved to Miami and reconnected with his roots working alongside family at Torano Cigars before they were sold to General Cigars with pretty much no knowledge to anyone outside of Charlie Torano. 

Within 3 weeks he began working for one of the best kept secrets in the Cigar industry, Roberto Duran Cigars. He joins us in studio as we discuss these great cigars and what the future of this company that can be traced back to Cuba in the 1920s. 

Also joining us at 1pm , will be Miguel Schoedel the Sales Director for Roberto Duran who has become famous on The Cigar Authority for the Ten Commandments of Cigar Shop shops that he penned years ago.

A couple of months back David Garofalo visited Cuba and what he saw was shocking to him. So much so that he shared it in a series of articles that just didn't sit will with fans of Cuban cigars. 

Now Colin has gone back with another tour to Cuba and we ask him what everyone wants to know, is David allowed back to Cuba. We also ask what is different this time around compared to last trip.

Philip Zanghi might not be a household name in the Cigar Industry, but he was the man behind Indian Tabac that started in 1992. In 1995, he partnered with Rocky Patel and parted ways from the brand and the partnership in 1997.

Following the successful launch of Debonaire Cigars, Mr. Zanghi is set to release Indian Motorcycles Cigars in 2015...

Since out shows on Cuba have been so popular, we will discuss what the future holds for Cuba and Cuban Cigars. This week the state department made the move to remove Cuba from the list of counties that support terrorism.

We will all way in with out thoughts as to what will happen next on the Island of South of the Mainland.
