Smoking Regius with Akhil & Exposing Cuban Secrets

We are joined in studio by the world record holder of the most expensive cigar ever sold. He is also a brand owner from across the pond, Akhil Kapacee of Regius Cigars joins us in studio. 

Also we revisit Cuba with David Garofalo who has been sharing his story in a 6 part series here on The Cigar Authority, and we talk in detail about the secrets of Cuban cigars, that they do not want us to know. It will blow your mind.

Smoking Pi & Eating Pie With Cuba

While part of the show title this week seems like a bad Aerosmith Song, we will kick back and light up Pi on Pi Day, 3.1415. A limited edition cigar, available at 2guyscigars.com. 

We will also discuss the trip of a lifetime as David Garofalo returns from Cuba and tells us what gifts he brought back for us to smoke and we will find out how much rum he drank but more importantly what some of the best cigars he smoked were.

The Madness of March

Taping the show on a short week is always fun, because you only get a day or two of content to prepare. The result can be anything from our greatest show, to the worst one ever. And on a short week, the risk of a train wreck is all the more possible.

Today we welcome cigar smoking Comedian Jay Grove to the show, and lets just say we haven’t had the best luck with comedians in the past. We will talk about life on the road, and how cigars factor into things for him.

We will also touch base with David Garofalo who is getting ready to leave for Cuba on a trip.

Mr. Garofalo Goes To Washington

In what led to the Presidency for Ronald Reagan, our own David Garofalo went to Washington DC this past week where he campaigned for justice, the justice of cigar smokers. Joined by the likes of Glynn Loope, Rocky Patel, Rafael Nodal and countless others they walked the halls of the Senate soliciting Senators and Representatives to leave premium cigars alone.

We will also be joined by Jeremy Soares the New England sales rep for My Father cigars who will be on hand in Seabrook, NH to talk with us about what 2015 will have in store for this company owned by the Garcia family.

As for what else, who knows and Mr. Jonathan took over the show preparations this week, and why the boss is away, who knows what will be in store without a voice of reason.

Smoking Budget Cigars Inside The Mail Bag

This week on The Cigar Authority we go inside the mailbag. The amount of emails we receive has multiplied exponentially, and as a result many of them have gotten pushed aside as an episode had run behind schedule as they do from time to time. Let's face it, we are windbags at times!

So this week we will address your questions, and give you the answer you seek, or maybe don't want to hear.

An Explosive Announcement From La Flor Dominicana

Victor Vitale will once again be joining us on The Cigar Authority and he will introduce us to his new Tortuga Connecticut which we will smoke on air. In the second hour we will smoke Dram cigars which is a new cigar that is specially blended to pair with whiskey. We will be pairing these new cigars with some Balvenie. The Cigar of the Year Announcement

Since 1992 Two Guys Smoke Shop has been announcing the Cigar of the Year. 5 Years ago that announcement was made on The Cigar Authority the day before the Super Bowl and this year is no different.

In the first hour we will light up a cigar from the contenders pack and interview Chuck Morrison live from the Super Bowl where he will get Debonaire on location.

In the second hour we will announce and smoke on Cigar of the Year.
