How To Avoid Tickets From Cops For Smoking Cigars

This week on the Cigar Authority we welcome to the show Mike LaRiviera the New England sales representative from Rocky Patel as we fire up a cigar from the care package; Rocky Patel LB1. We will sit down with Mike who is a retired police officer and ask him to get into our debate if you should inform an officer you are legally carrying when pulled over. We will also ask about breathalyzers and find out how you can get out of a ticket.. Dave will also ask Mike the 6 things you should never ask an officer of the law.

The Yankee Cigar Swap

Tis the season to spread the wealth. This week the members of The Cigar Authority discuss the cigars they have been smoking and our selection might just inspire you on cigars to request or give for Christmas.

In the first hour we discuss those cigars while we smoke a cigar from The Cigar Authority Care Package for December. That cigar is the original Guardian of the Farm.

In the second hour we have a Yankee Swap and we gift each other cigars in the spirit of Christmas. We will also attempt to make a dent in all the viewer mail that has come in over the course of the year throughout.

We will do all of this while Barry takes the day off to have lunch in a van? Will he come back or has he had enough of the madness known as The Cigar Authority.

The End of the Cigar World As We Know It

The biggest day of the year for retailers is Black Friday. However, over the years the day hasn’t become as big for mom & pop, brick and mortar retailers. It’s about to get a lot worse for the cigar industry industry if the government has it’s way. With H.R. 2339 looming the end of online cigar sales could be coming which could lead to the rebirth brick & mortar shops.

During the first hour of the show we will each pick a cigar from the Contenders Pack in a fantasy style draft. Who will get the first pick overall, and what will be the first cigar selected. While in the second hour we will do the same with the remaining three as we add the reigning Cigar of the Year; Aganorsa Leaf Connecticut to the mix.

The Contenders For the 2019 Cigar of the Year with Nestor Miranda

Since 1992 David Garofalo has been announcing The Cigar of the Year. It is the only cigar of the year that allows you our listeners to cast a vote and have your voice heard. Seven cigars will be unveiled that make up the contenders and we will tell you how you can be a part of the process.

First however we will be joined by the owner of Miami Cigar & Company as we help launch the return of Don Lino Africa. The cigar is made at the AJ Fernandez factory in Nicaragua and we will share our thoughts on this cigar that Nestor Miranda holds near and dear.

In the second hour we will fire up the first of seven contenders. We will share our thoughts on the cigar as we tell you all the cigars on the ballot for Cigar of the Year. It’s one of our biggest shows every year and we look forward to the he big reveal,
